The idea for Tamil Square began with three friends who spent the last two decades exploring and critiquing the world of food. United by their shared love of Tamil cuisine, they devoted over 20 years to tasting, learning, and appreciating dishes from home and abroad
always searching for flavors that matched their preferences and honored their heritage.

Through years of culinary exploration, they realized that what they craved most were authentic Tamil and Sri Lankan dishes prepared with the care and warmth of home. When they couldn’t find the exact blend of quality, flavor, and hospitality they sought, they decided to create it themselves. That’s how Tamil Square was born: a place where they could bring their vision to life and share it with others.
